The Creative Collaboration best describes my client relationships because “my” best ideas come from you—the customer.

So many times I have discovered fantastic ideas planted within the minds of clients and friends. But many of these ideas simply sit on a dark shelf until we meet, creatively collaborate, and bring them into the light.
Ever wonder how you can bring more of these ideas into the light on your own? I’d like to share with you a few simple habits that, in my experience, help these seedlings find sunshine and become blooming results!

Of course, write your ideas down or record them on a voice recorder—whatever works to get them out of your head and into a format you can work with.

How about routinely sharing your ideas with someone? Do you have a trusted friend in your life whom you meet with regularly? Someone who receives your thoughts without judgment and without a bunch of critical advice? An encouraging person who listens well? I do. (In fact, a few. What a blessing!).

Hmmm. What else? Oh yeah, take action! But, you might say, I’ve got work to do, grocery shopping, yard work, bills to pay, a pile of laundry—and so on. Friend, we are all in the same boat. Let me share with you something I’ve tried: Take a baby step. Just a tiny baby step. Try your idea on. Then try it on again. Don’t try to immediately outline a path to success with your new found brilliant “conquer the world” plan. Just make a call. Send an email. Go see someone.
